I'm a Clinical Psychologist Who Found Her Perfect Fit in UX Research

I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Kansas and completed my residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine. I also hold a master’s degree in Global Health from Duke University and have conducted research with diverse populations from all around the world.

With over 13 years of experience leading rigorous mixed-methods research, I specialize in solving time-sensitive challenges with data-driven insights that fuel product innovation in the tech industry. I work fast, think fast, and move fast to deliver actionable solutions that address real-world user needs.

My unique background as a clinical psychologist makes me adept at understanding nuanced human behavior, navigating ambiguity, and uncovering deep insights—even when they’re unspoken. I’m passionate about fostering collaborative energy with my cross-functional partners across every stage of the research process.

I’m currently a UX Researcher IV at Meta Reality Labs, where I conduct research on comfort, fit, and ergonomics for virtual reality devices, with a focus on hardware usability and new user experience (NUX). Outside of work, I enjoy live music, film, photography, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with my partner and our dog.
